Most of our days off this summer have been spent at Crystal Springs, our community water park. Sylvie and I love this place! The two family pools have a zero entry, so it's just like walking into a lake or the ocean, it just progressively gets deeper. They even have 2 toddler sized water slides, which Sylvie loves to go on over and over and over and over again.

The pool also has a big lazy river, which is where we spend naptime. Sylvie conks out on my chest for a good 45 minutes or so, recharging her batteries and giving us both a little break. And I get to snuggle and cuddle with my fiercely independent little girl, feeling her warm little body sprawled out on mine. Which is a rare occurrence these days, so I especially enjoy it!

I think the animals in the baby pool are one of her favorite features. There's 3 of them and at any given moment there are usually a handful of kids climbing all over each one. Sometimes at night when I tuck her in she asks me "Mommy, I go to the pool tomorrow? I see the duck and the frog and the turtle?" I wonder if she dreams about them too!
