Fashion-challenged or Progressively-fashionable?

In a very very rare turn of events (like, it's never happened before) Sylvie picked out her entire outfit today. I was in the bathroom when she ran in and informed me that she had picked out her clothes. I was pretty excited to see what she had chosen, and immediately ran for the camera after stifling the giggles over what she had selected. (and I should note that this was exactly how I found these items, she had arranged them like this on the floor.)

She's got 3 out of the 4 spot on. Well, sorta. A pair of My Little Pony underpants (except that she isn't potty trained and actually requested a diaper when I did dress her), a pair of cute pink shorts, and a yellow onesie from last year (tags still on!). All in all, a good solid little outfit. So what's with the rainbow striped leg warmers??? In 90 degree weather in July. I love this kid.

And apparently she was on a kick because later tonight she had John get her all decked out in the following ensemble:

Green sunhat, red raincoat and her new pink back pack.
