Finding new ways to enjoy her sandbox...

...and drive her ever-so-slightly-OCD mother crazy.

Yes, that is exactly what it looks like. Sylvie is filling her dress pockets with sand. You know what's funny about this? I remember last summer, or maybe even earlier, thinking that any parent that gave their kid a sandbox was CRAZY. Because who would want sand in their child's clothes, their shoes, tracked through the house, in their child's hair?!? I knew it was a nightmare waiting to happen for a control freak like myself, but that warm spot in my heart just made me forget about all of that when I saw how much Sylvie enjoyed digging outside. And I knew she needed a sandbox, period. I figured I'd deal with the sandy hair and the sandy shoes, I'd make good use of our little mud room/entryway. But honestly, I never in my wildest dreams figured she'd take it this far. My laundry basket is becoming an indoor sandbox. Sigh.

But oh man, that face. Totally worth it.
