Wedding Rehearsal

Today was Amanda and Pat's wedding rehearsal and dinner. It was so much fun! The rehearsal itself was exciting and we all got to practice our roles, including Sylvie and Brianna, who practiced holding hands and walking together. Much cuteness all around. Later we met up with all of the out-of-towners for dinner on a beautiful lake near Amanda and Pat's house. The food was delicious and the party was so much fun. I love the atmosphere of rehearsal dinners, just so much excitement in the air, with family and friend reunions, the relaxing vibes and good food and music. The kids running around and everyone just generally kicking back. It was a fantastic party! Here are some shots from the evening:

Later at the lake, Sylvie is reunited with Collin and McKaylea. She was SO HAPPY to see them and play. They were adorable together.

I think it was right around the time I snapped this picture that I heard Sylvie shout "Let's go guys!" and then take off running, with Mac and Collin in hot pursuit. They chased each other around like this all evening, until the sun went down.

After dinner, Amanda presented Pat with a groom's cake in the shape of a grocery shopping cart filled with his favorite foods (Pat is a manager at a local grocery store). The cake was a huge hit, and those foods were actually rice krispie treats covered with icing.
