In the car

Wednesday morning meant more driving. And it was a pretty good drive for the first couple of hours. Sylvie ate a little, drank a bunch of juice, and had her choice of DVDs to watch:

And then suddenly, just less than an hour from Mimi's house, Sylvie started getting cranky and within seconds was puking. Everywhere. She was very upset and scared and kept vomiting, and since we were on a very dangerous part of the highway with no shoulder we couldn't pull over. We had to drive a mile to the next exit, where we were able to get her out and clean her (and the car) up. We ended up spending about 45 minutes on the side of the road, just to make sure she was okay. She was fine as soon as we got her out, and all she wanted to do was run around and play. Here I am on the phone with Amanda, talking about lots of pressing wedding details while trying to clean vomit out of Sylvie's hair.
