Reading nook

I can't remember if I've already done a post about this, but I'm pretty sure I haven't. Apologies if this is old news! So Sylvie has a few favorite spots in the house, like her little table and chair set in the living room, where she loves to play with her farm and animals. Or her Elmo chair from Grampy and Steppy, which she lounges in on a daily basis during Sesame Street. I'd say her favorite spot though is her little reading nook in our bedroom, which is squeezed in between my bedside table and the wall radiator. It kind of happened by accident, we just ran out of space for all of her books and started piling them up on the only empty bit of space in our house, on top of the radiator cover. One day I heard little bits of babbling coming from the corner of our bedroom and was pretty surprised to see Sylvie had made a little spot for herself on the floor, with about 3 dozen books spread out around her feet. We've since added a little bean bag chair for comfort, and Sylvie can be found hunkered down and reading to herself several times every single day.
