Nothing great was playing at the local theaters, so we decided to just see the latest goofy Adam Sandler flick "You Don't Mess with the Zohan." We did roll into the theater parking lot in my newly-sparkling Corolla...Kacey had surreptitiously kept my car "at her mom's" for most of the day...it was actually getting a full, much-needed detail job. Awesome!
Movie was predictably funny. I just have to add that when we were getting our concessions before the film, I requested a 12-oz. bottle of water from the cashier, and it added $4.75 to the total. We told her to put that bottle back in the cooler. Ridiculous.
Post-move we went to the diner for a bite to eat. Of course we began talking about Sylvie and wondering how her night was going. Then we decided that it wouldn't be right to wake up without her in the house on Fathers Day so we called Kathy, found out that she was still awake, paid our bill, picked her up, brought her home and tucked her in:

I'm smiling now at the 4.75 comment...smiling because at some point in the future when this is re-read, that 4.75 will probably sound like a bargain! But, you're right. For now anyway, it is ridiculous! P.S. Don't, I repeat, DO NOT, go see HellBoy II! Cheesy is an understatement. xxoo
Glad you had such a nice pre-Father's Day celebration......and I agree with you......I would have choked on that water!
