Helping

I'm sure I've posted about this before, but Sylvie loves to drag her little chair over to the sink and help me wash the dishes. She's a total sink hog though, so her "help" usually means I'm washing dishes for twice as long, what with her elbowing me out of the way and taking clean dishes from the drain and putting them back in with the dirty ones.

But she just gets such a big kick out of it, and will ALWAYS drop anything and everything to get up there and splash around. Such a cutie pie!


And although we did celebrate early last night, this post would not be complete without a Father's Day shout-out to John Henry! While Sylvie and I were busy washing dishes John spent about 2 hours trying to hook up his present from Syl, a Roku box! There were all sorts of problems with the box and our connection and at various points there was much cursing and thrashing around coming from the other end of the house. A classic Father's Day!! In the end it all worked out and we celebrated the new system by watching an episode of Caillou, Sylvie's favorite cartoon.
