Happy Birthday Grandma Kathy!!

Sylvie was delighted to learn that June 8th meant a very special birthday celebration for her Grandma Kathy. We told her about it the night before, that when she woke up it would be Grandma's birthday. I'm sure she spent all night dreaming of candles to blow out and cake to gobble up, because when she woke up she was so excited that she agreed to call Grandma and sing birthday wishes to her!

Later on in the day we headed over to Grandma's house for a BBQ with the whole family. Here Syl makes yet another birthday celebration all-about-Sylvie as she helps herself to the presents:

My brother Kris, mom, Kris' girlfriend Sabina, and Kris' friend. Shoot, I don't remember his name! And seriously, I think my mom looks like a teenager in this picture!

We all had a good time on that Sunday.....Kathy received a special Giants football from Kris, which I'm sure she'll have on display somewhere in her house. Sylvie enjoyed singing the Happy Birthday song and helping to blow out the candles. What nice memories!
