Tuesday Night is Guest Blogger Night: Green Thumb

Sylvie made a Mother's Day card for Kacey at school today, and as they were leaving the teacher handed out flowers in little paper cups for the kids to give each mom. It was very sweet, and Kacey was touched. Later on in the day she decided to take Sylvie outside and plant the little flower together.

Luckily we had a bag of soil left over from last year.

She did a great job of getting the soil from the bag to the pot. Very few spills!

Almost full!

After they dug a little hole for the flower, Sylvie lowers it into the pot.

Here she is admiring her handiwork. Sylvie was quite pleased with her little gardening experience. Now grow little flower, grow!!

No matter which flower is growing outside your house, this one will be the main attraction. I can just see Sylvie with the watering can ..........waiting to see how tall it's going to grow.
