What a day!

AND we're back! I know, I know...we've got some catching up to do. but it's been a busy week and a half!

Friday was great. Brandon and Nicole had off school so Kacey and Syl were outside most of the morning and afternoon playing in the sun. Sylvie built sandcastles, rode her bike, played hide-and-go-seek, and even went to the park to have a picnic. Later on that night when I got home from a grueling 1h 45m commute, we went to Nicole's softball game. Not only was it a super exciting game (Nicole's performance on the mound got written up in the local newspaper -- yes, even at 10 years-old, these games are taken very seriously), but as an added bonus for Sylvie, she met a bunch of new friends on the awesome jungle gym. She shared an order of cheese fries with her parents. Then back to the jungle gym for some more bangin' around.

Yet despite all of these amazing photo ops, the camera was forgotten at home all day. Not wanting to disappoint, we managed to snap this pic right before bedtime.

Yes. That's right. It's Sylvie putting a Sargento's Mozzarella cheese stick into a Yuengling lager bottle. Yippee.
