Inspired by this MOMocrats post, the DailySyl is taking a brief detour from the sweet and simple Sylvie updates for a moment. Because we think that even a 2 year old would object to such pathetic and blatant racism in the political process. People like Bill Cunningham could learn a few things from the toddler running around this house, like her ability to embrace people everywhere she meets with such pure and genuine open mindedness, regardless of race, gender, class, physical ability, etc. Seeing the world through the eyes of a 2 year old has brought such a breath of fresh air into my life, and also given me a sense of urgency with regard to the world she's growing up in. More than anything else I want her to hold on to that sense of purity and acceptance, and the innocence with which she greets each day. Things in this country have got to change. We are the people we've been waiting for.

Oh, to be 2 years old again! What a shame that it can't remain that way, before someone has poisoned an innocent mind with their own take on how we should think. Just think what this world would be like if we all were allowed to think for ourselves......no pressure from anyone!
right on!
