SUPER Tuesday Night is Guest Blogger Night: A Lesson in Civics

I guess it's true what the talking heads and pundits are saying...the so-called "youth vote" is really starting to come out in larger numbers. Sylvie stepped into a voting booth for the first time tonight. We even pulled the lever for our chosen candidate together.

Despite being born during the 2nd term of one of our country's worst presidents ever, the editors of the Daily Syl take solace in that fact that she'll remember none of it. I know that I don't remember Gerald Ford at all, but I do have very clear memories of his successor President Jiminy Cricket (yes, I was a huge Disney fan so I got a little confused...I was just 4!). Hopefully when Sylvie is older, she will remember her first president fondly. We think our vote tonight will lead to a very happy November, at the very least.

Sorry, but the much coveted Daily Syl endorsement will not be announced prior to the DNC and RNC Conventions this summer. Hint: We all know that Sylvie likes elephants, but she really loves the donkeys.
