Gooooooooooo Giants!

What a game!! I'm not a football fan and before a week or two ago couldn't have even told you what teams were in the playoffs. But having grown up in a big football house I understand how the game works and can enjoy a good one. And man, it was a GOOD one! (and watching it on a 52 inch high def TV certainly didn't hurt!)

When Trish and Jon invited us over for a Superbowl party we were really excited to just get together, but weren't so sure how Sylvie would tolerate it. We figured it was going to be a blow out of a game anyway, and we'd probably go home at half time. Well, that obviously didn't happen, and by the middle of the 4th quarter Sylvie was jumping around and screaming at the TV just like the rest of us.

my favorite part of the evening happened a few minutes after you tried to explain the chip/dip dynamic to sylvie. your main point was that sour cream-based dips are generally not consumed on their own, but with a potato chip. well, a few minutes later, syl made a masterful move on the veggie dip. she managed to get a gigantic hunk of dip on her finger and ate it really quick. did you see it? i was cracking up!
