Sylvie and I had the day off today, and it was such a great day! First we spent a good portion of the morning in our PJs snuggled in bed eating bananas. (she ate two whole ones by herself!) We then puttered around the house eventually making our way out around noon to run errands. I had absolutely NO IDEA that it was unseasonably warm and beautiful outside until the moment we stepped out the front door, so our plans instantly expanded to include an outing to the park. We were out for 3.5 hours and in that time managed to exchange some clothes at Baby Gap, return a pair of shoes at Target, go to the library to return an overdue book and play/read/hang, pick up lunch and have a winter picnic at the playground. We played outside for about an hour, at which point I decided I really had to get Sylvie home, because she was close to two hours overdue for her nap! Not that she let on:

sylvie's got spring fever!!! LOVE the last picture!!
I love that last picture too! Drinking chocolate milk...what a treat! We've totally got spring fever up in in NJ but it was just the first day of winter 2.5 weeks ago. It's gonna be a long one! Good news is that pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training in just 5 short weeks! Yay!
This is my second blog for my first child, Sylvie. The first one didn't go so well, so now I'm trying a simpler approach: one new photo a day. Here goes!
