So we have another new development around here, Sylvie has started referring to me as "Mom" and John as "Dad". How did this happen? It's really taken us by surprise. When she's proud of herself she'll look at me with a big grin and say "I did it Mom!" or when she's wondering where John is during the day she'll ask "Where did Dad go?" She's also started saying "I love you," which is obviously the sweetest sound I've ever heard. Today when I put her down for her nap I did my usual "love you" as I was leaving the room, to which Sylvie replied "I love you Mom." melt melt melt melt melt.

SO cute! She's growing up too fast! All of these monments are precious, and before you know it
she'll be into something different.
At least you can look back on all of this and smile.
