Sylvie sat like this for a good 10 minutes today, "reading" my copy of The Catcher in the Rye. Which is especially funny because the book was upside down. She was barely mumbling anything audible, and with the pacifier in her mouth I couldn't make out a single word of what she was saying. I would really love to know what kind of story she was telling herself!
On a related note, Sylvie has been walking around all day today remarking how phony everything is. Bah-dum-bum.

love that book---had to read it summer between middle school and high school, which means syl will be reading it come preschool, at her rate!!!!!
speaking of ducks, Sylvie was also wondering where all the ducks from the Duck Pond go in the winter.
the go to Florida in the winter like other smart animals. :)
