22 months old

22 months?! Freakin' unbelievable. I realized the other day that even with daily posts on this blog I feel like I'm not coming close to capturing how amazing Sylvie is these days. She is nothing short of a total and complete joy to be around, I feel like I fall more in love with her every single day, and just wish so much that I could bottle this feeling up and carry it around with me in my back pocket. I was telling my mom today that I just don't think it's possible that another person could love their child as much as I love Sylvie, it's not possible! Now, I know this is ridiculous and I'm not actually suggesting it to be true, but it's how I feel deep down in my core. She is literally the greatest thing in my life, I love her so much. It blows me away on a daily basis.

And now....on to the language list. Amanda, good job on the guesses! You got 4 out of 7 correct! Here are the translations, plus her other words mentioned in previous posts (rounding out the list for posterity):

pee-cheese = mac-n-cheese
bargage = garbage
Brover = Grover
po-coon = raccoon
Ah-cole = Nicole
Ah-count = The Count
snuggy = snuggly
bee-box = mailbox
pee-tube = youtube
pee-pop = lollipop
au-plih-uhrrr = caterpillar

Your love for Sylvie is how most mothers (or I should say, parents) feel about their child. And, believe it or not, that same feeling will be felt for future children, without changing how you feel for Sylvie. Somehow, we're equipped to have that emotion for more than one, without pushing the other one out of the picture. Each child is special, and that's the way it should be.

Hey everyone! Don't forget to leave your name with your comment. From now on I'm going to delete anonymous comments.

If you select "Other" it will give you an option to put your name in, or if you select "Anonymous" please just remember to add your name at the end of the comment. There is an option I can set that will only allow registered users to comment, to avoid the anonymous thing altogether, but I'm afraid that would be a big pain for everyone, involving creating an account with blogger or gmail and signing in each time.

I agree with you on anonymous comments.......everyone should leave their name........why wouldn't they?

Thanks, Gram. We plan on printing this all out for Sylvie at some point, so I'd really like for her to know who all the comments are from!

Wonderful idea! Wouldn't we all like to know what other people thought of us. Sylvie will love it when she's old enough to really absorb all of the opinions. She's been exposed to SO much, so she can pick and choose the things she likes or doesn't like.

you guys are such wonderful parents! One day Sylvie will be writing the same thing about you two--how lucky she is to have such a loving family. I am amazed DAILY by all of Sylvie's strengths, so thank you for doing this blog. Love you. Aunt Amanda
