Our little adventure

Sylvie and I had a pretty low-key day today, the highlight being our walk to the convenience store for sandwiches. The store is right at the corner of our street, and it normally takes us about a minute to walk there. Today the walk took 35 minutes. Toddler time!

First Sylvie wanted to stop at the school next door to us to smell the newly planted flowers. After touching and sniffing each bunch, we moved on.

Next Sylvie found a little field full of birds eating lunch, her favorite part of the walk.

The cashier at the store gave Sylvie a free lollipop, and I think this was the 2nd one she's ever had. She LOVED it. She was so occupied by her little lollipop that we made it all the way home with barely a pause. Once home we sat on the stoop and watched the activity on our busy street. We counted the cars and said hi to the people and dogs walking by. Sylvie loves the stoop.

Mmmmmm. Blue teeth.

I can just imagine how much she enjoyed that lollipop........and all of the different sights she saw on her neighborhood walk. I have a feeling you'll be doing that again soon, especially if she has anything to say about it.

Very well done Kacey. Looking at the pics of the walk is like walking with you. Love it. And her little blue teeth? oh well. I still get them when I go to the bank. I know how Syl feels when she gets her hands on one.Love Steppy
